Teollisuuden Voima (TVO) Oyj: Nuclear plant fuel bundle order optimization

ZenRobotics implemented an optimization to the fuel bundle configuration of TVO's Olkiluoto nuclear plant. One of the advantages of the new software is rapid recalculation as situation changes. Rapid calculation is required e.g. when during the loading of the reactor a fuel bundle is found to be in an incorrect or unidentifiable configuration. Thanks to the optimization the maintenance period of the nuclear plant is shorter, which results in savings.

Sandvik Mining & Construction Ltd: New R&D Analysis Tool for Rock Drilling Equipment

ZenRobotics developed a new field-ready analysis tool for Sandvik Mining & Construction for drilling equipment research. The product was made possible by ZenRobotics's combined high-level expertise in physics and data analysis. The analysis tool allows the development of faster, more durable and energy-efficient drilling solutions.

Ekokem Ltd: Predicting Peak CO Levels in Toxic Waste Incineration

The sudden, momentary increases in the concentration of carbon monoxide, CO peaks, are a major concern for hazardous waste incineration operation. Ekokem Ltd the leading waste management service provider in Finland had recorded CO peaks, but could not deduce the process that gave birth to them. Ekokem chose to apply ZenRobotics's data mining expertise to solve the problem in a joint project. ZenRobotics performed advanced mathematical analyses on Ekokem's process data and video imagery. A fleeting phenomenon predicting the CO peaks was uncovered. This discovery enables pre-emptive control adjustments that prevent occurrences of CO peaks.
